Who am I?

For the past 25 years I have lived and worked on Challa Station, Mt Magnet with my husband, John, and our families. John and I have built a home in Dongara and intend to be living there permanently from January,

2006. I have been an authorised celebrant since September 2004.

My life has revolved around my family, community involvement, and sporting activities.

During 2004 I studied and passed the Celebrant Training Course CHCMCEL -401A to Plan, Conduct and Review a Marriage Ceremony. I was authorised through the Attorney General’s Department in September 2004. I continue to attend personal development and training days to maintain my skills and development.

I love marrying people, it is a sheer delight to see couples plan a personal wedding structured to their personalities and then to see the day proceed so easily and happily. I love to include symbolic and or cultural rites within the framework of the service. I have over 100 verses and vows for you to choose from to personalise your service. If you wish, I love to include your own personal words.

Other duties a celebrant performs are funeral services, naming ceremonies, reaffirmation ceremonies. I consider it an honour and privilege to be able to perform personal services, guided by your requirements, to make these occasions memorable.
